Delicious Ramen at Noru Bar

Noru Bar @barelonafoodhunters

The other day I had an opportunity to try the delicious ramen at Noru Bar in Poblenou. They actually just recently opened and I saw some food blogger posts about this place. I love some good ramen and there are a few restaurants in Barcelona that I consider my favorites.

In this blog, I will show you what we ordered, my opinion about the ramen that we ordered, the location, and the atmosphere of the place.

The Location

The restaurant is located in Poblenou and one of my viewers mentioned that the place was a Bar name Tu y Yo which I didn’t know and have never been to. Although we saw inside the restaurant there is a plaque of Bar Tu y Yo there, I didn’t ask though I thought that was part of the overall aesthetic. Below you’ll find the location in google maps and please be reminded that they don’t do reservations.

The place is really pretty with a yellow theme and they contracted an artist to do some art for the restaurant. I shared the profile of the artist in my Instagram stories. They put a lot of effort even in the ceramics which they get from one ceramic artist in Barcelona.

We had a chance to eat in a bar, so basically the style is this typical Japanese restaurant that you can mostly find in Japan. I like when a restaurant put so much effort to make representing the food they are serving overall the interior and vibe of the restaurant are excellent in my point of view.

The Food

This restaurant mainly focuses on ramen, so there’s no other menu if you are looking for other types of dishes. There are four types of ramen available and we ordered miso ramen and kimchi ramen. For vegetarians, you can order Curry Laksa ramen as an option. They have also a few varieties of appetizers to choose from and we ordered the Tamago Sando which I highly recommend.

I am really impressed with the aesthetic even of the ramen, it’s really something that you want to share on your Instagram account. All the food that we ordered was really good and what I like about this restaurant is that they have their own version of the flavor of ramen. The ramens here are not the typical ones you’ll find in Barcelona. If you are really into fusion or creative flavor and food style I recommend you to try this place.

Conclusion

Overall, I really liked it and I wouldn’t mind going back again I know for sure in the future the menu will change, and will look forward to what variety of flavors they gonna offer next time.
