I love to search for the best Italian Restaurants in Barcelona. Who does not love Italian food? I grew up having this desire to explore Italy and its food culture, especially the variety of food that I would like to try. I have visited Italy and was fortunate enough to travel to different cities. Whenever I am craving Italian food the lists below are my to-go place to dine in or to take away. I know there are more Italian restaurants to discover, but for now below is the list of my highly recommended Italian restaurants in Barcelona.

Here are my top 4 Italian Restaurant Favourites in Barcelona.
1. Murivecchi
Murivecchi is one of the pioneering Italian restaurants in Barcelona and has been actively improving and offering new Italian dishes and restaurant is located in Gothic – Born area just at the back of Parc Ciutadella.
Price Range (20€ – 30€)
The area is good and for tourism, it’s the most accessible place to sit down after a long walk. If you got the chance to try this restaurant, I recommend you order my favorite aperitivo it’s called aperitivo mixto, for the second plate they offer this pasta carbonara with truffle and it’s presented inside the rounded parmesan cheese wheel. If you want to load on more carbohydrates I recommend ordering a pizza as well, and the Margherita is my favorite! Also one thing, the dessert please try the pan di Stelle, I really like this one.
2. Bacaro
This place is just one of the best Italian restaurants to go to for a romantic date and the restaurant is located just at the back of Mercado de la Boqueria.
Price Range (30€ – 40€)
It’s a small taberna and you’ll feel how they put attention to every service they do. Considering the restaurant is really special the price of the food is a bit pricey. The good thing about the food quality is really good, I don’t mind paying for something which is done well. I believe they changed their pasta menu from time to time depending on the season. In any luck you come here, I recommend that you order the carbonara di mare and parmigiana for sure you will like them.
3. Le Cucine de Mandarosso
I found this place from some posts on Instagram and I was so curious to try it. As I was following some Italian restaurants they were actually selected for Grana Padano. What I like about this restaurant is they offer a different menu which was not so typical in other Italian restaurants. During our lunch out there we tried the food which is from Sicilian cuisine. Probably next time, they will have something new! I will come back for sure.

4. Restaurant BelleBuòn
The place is small and calling in advance is mandatory so you can secure your spot. I promised, you will like this place and every serving here is so generous you will need to come here really hungry! I recommend that you order their lasagna and parmigiana for sure you’ll like them.
