Are you traveling to London soon? I have one restaurant that I discovered that you will like for sure. The name is Bancone best Italian restaurant in London. I wasn’t aware in the beginning that it is in Michelin Guide here is the link. Bancone Covent Garden Photos and Food Review
First thing first if you want to book any restaurants in London like this one you will need to do a reservation. In London, it’s required to put in your bank card when making the reservation to secure your spot something that is not mandatory in Barcelona. I do understand some restaurants do this in top cities like London where there are thousands of visitors every single day.
The reservation is quite smooth and can be done online check this link if you want to do a reservation with them. The food prices in London, in general, were actually more or less the same here in Barcelona. In the beginning, I was surprised at how affordable the food and restaurants here are.
The Restaurant
The overall interior of the place is simply elegant. There are long bars and an open kitchen where you can see the kitchen staff preparing the food. There are plenty of tables and I think they can cater also to a big group as I saw on the second floor there’s a big table exclusively for the private dining experience.


The Food
The food prices are not expensive at all for the quality of the pasta that we ate and the presentation of each dish that makes it more even special. There’s one pasta that I really want to try from this restaurant which is their signature Silk handkerchiefs, walnut bitter, confit egg yolk. For sure if you are googling this restaurant you will find photos of this beautiful pasta and I tell you in person is the same as it looks.
If you drink alcohol I recommend you to try their signature negroni and the Silk handkerchiefs, walnut butter, and confit egg yolk.
For antipasti, we ordered Burrata, salt-baked beetroot, and preserved lemon.


For pasta, we ordered signature Silk handkerchiefs, walnut butter, confit egg yolk & Duck ragù, fazzoletti, crackling.

Overall, we really enjoyed the food, place, and service. If ever I am in London again I will surely come back here and try other dishes and desserts. I highly recommend this place if you love Italian food and if you want to try the food I recommended above.
