Let’s discover the new best Asian restaurant in Barcelona – Mikan. I am always on the lookout for new Asian restaurants in Barcelona. I discovered them through Instagram and they started the food business as a ghost restaurant delivering cute bento boxes depends how many customer order per day. It’s really nice to see a restaurant like this starting from delivering cute lunch boxes to opening a restaurant. The owner of the restaurant is from the Northeast of China and was living in Japan and now she created these dishes inspired from these parts of Asia.

I went to the restaurant the first week of the opening inauguration and at that moment they were open for lunch only. Today, you can also book for dinner, and for wine lovers they have pretty good wines available at the restaurant.

I am a lover of this kind of food presentation, and what I love about Asian food is so abundant of vegetables. This is the kind of menu I am always longing for, a kind of food that is good for my gut. I appreciate every little detail they put on to work on this menu and even the ceramics are pretty. The cost of the menu at this time is 13.50 euros including the dessert and water and I think it’s a pretty good deal for Barcelona’s standard price.

The place is really aesthetically pretty and I love how the colors complement the overall theme of the restaurant also they have different art on the wall and the pieces of furniture together.
I will definitely try to eat here once a month as I love the lunch here so much. I will probably go as well for dinner so I can try the good wines they have. Also, I want to highlight my appreciation of this cute official logo of Mikan a cat taking a sip of wine.
